Hi, my name is Ash.

I'm starting this project as a way to expose myself to a more varied set of game play experiences and to try and understand some of the business and marketing decisions that go into a game demo.

I'm open to playing games on all platforms, but I will typically be doing this at work during lunch so I'll probably be sticking to those on PC and Xbox 360 for the most part. The demos do not have to be new and could even be for games that have already been out for a long time. I think I have some PSP demo discs lying around somewhere for instance, which also ticks a box of being a bit unique in terms of a demo experience. I would include game betas in this site if I feel like I am able to talk about the game during the beta period, but usually that isn't the case. Occasionally I may sneak in a full game that is "free" too.

Since I work in online gaming I am most interested in seeing multiplayer demos or those with other kinds of online functionality, but that won't be the sole focus.

To give you some kind of idea of my current gaming tastes, I play first person shooters and racing games the majority of the time, along with some sports and platforming, with the occasional horror. I'm not a real time strategy or massively multiplayer fan as a rule.
